A: The best thing to do is try to determine what your son or daughter is truly interested in. This will help keep the interest and help the person to feel good about what they are doing. People with adhd typically find things that they are not interested in very boring. If this person is interested in cars, for example, they might go to a college with courses in mechanics. Or they might be able to help someone in a garage. Find a way to help this person to determine their own interests and then to find ways to use them constructively. Then, eventually they can find more and more ways to use their skills for money.
